The details

Still a camera-first phone.

The 48MP main sensor and 3x telephoto cover most situations, and ProRAW gives editors more room to work. Video stabilisation is excellent for handheld clips.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max remains a strong large-screen iPhone, with the Dynamic Island, an always-on display and a 48MP main camera. The stainless steel frame feels substantial and the battery is generous even by current standards.

A large screen that stays useful

The 6.7-inch 120Hz panel is bright outdoors and the always-on display makes notifications glanceable. The larger body also leaves room for a battery that lasts well into the evening.

Display: 6.7" Super Retina XDR OLED, 120Hz
