Orders7

  • Add what you want to your cart and send it to us. The order is confirmed on WhatsApp, where we check availability and answer your questions.

  • No. No payment is taken on the site. We agree how you'll pay on WhatsApp when we confirm your order.

  • Instalments and financing aren't offered through the site. Payment is agreed with you on WhatsApp when your order is confirmed, so ask us there about what's possible for your order.

  • It lets you talk to a person who can confirm stock, delivery and installation before you commit, and answer anything the product page does not.

  • Tell us on WhatsApp as soon as you know. What is possible depends on how far the order has progressed, and we will explain your options.

  • The product page shows its availability. We confirm it again when you message us on WhatsApp.

  • Yes. Add them to your cart and send the whole cart. We will confirm the order, delivery and any installation together.

Delivery6

  • Tell us where you are. Whether we deliver there, and the cost and timing, depend on the item and the address, and we confirm all three on WhatsApp before you agree to the order.

  • It depends on where you are and what you ordered. Ask us on WhatsApp for current delivery times.

  • Delivery cost depends on the item and destination. We confirm it on WhatsApp before you agree to the order.

  • Check the packaging and the contents against your order before you sign for it. If anything looks wrong, tell us on WhatsApp straight away.

  • Installation is a separate service for the solar, battery and smart-home products we fit, carried out by our own team. We confirm it with the rest of your order.

  • Ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is available for your order.

Warranty & returns6

  • Each product page shows its warranty period. Read it before you order, and ask us if anything is unclear.

  • Yes. Certified-refurbished devices carry our 12-month warranty, and the product page states it.

  • Warranties typically cover faults in manufacture or workmanship, not accidental damage, water damage or wear. The product page and the warranty documents describe what applies.

  • Contact us on WhatsApp with your order details and a description or photo of the problem, and we will tell you what to do next.

  • Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return any product, for any reason, and the return is free. Keep your order confirmation and, where you can, the original packaging.

  • Yes. Keep your order confirmation and, where you can, the original packaging, as they make warranty and return requests simpler.

Trade-in6

  • You describe the device and film it, and the site shows what it typically trades for. Our team watches the video, agrees the final price with you on WhatsApp, and the value goes toward your upgrade.

  • No. It's a guide. The final figure is agreed once our team has seen the device's real condition, and you decide then whether to go ahead.

  • Screen and body wear, battery health, whether it powers on and works fully, and whether it's locked to an account. The valuation asks about each of these.

  • Phones, laptops and tablets. The valuation lists the models we take today, and there's a route for any other phone, laptop or tablet. If yours isn't listed, ask us on WhatsApp.

  • Back up your data, sign out of your accounts and erase the device. If you'd like help, ask us on WhatsApp.

  • The value of a trade-in goes toward a purchase. Ask us on WhatsApp if you have a different arrangement in mind.

Phones & laptops8

  • Both are good choices, and the right one depends on your budget and how long you want to keep it. A new device has no history and the longest life ahead of it. A certified-refurbished one has been through our 50-point inspection and graded, comes with a 12-month warranty, and usually costs less.

Whichever you choose, read the condition grade and the warranty on the product page before you decide.

  • A grade describes the outside of a device: how much wear the frame, screen and back show. It doesn't describe how the device works, which is the same across grades once it has passed inspection.

If a photo or description is unclear, ask us on WhatsApp before you order.

  • Battery (8 checks), display and touch (9), cameras (7), ports and buttons (6), connectivity (7) and a verified data wipe (5), then the unit is sealed (8). Every phone, laptop and tablet we list goes through it.

  • Yes. Each product page shows its warranty period. Certified-refurbished devices carry our 12-month warranty.

  • For most people, the answer is set by photos, video and offline downloads rather than apps. If you shoot a lot of video or keep many downloads, choose the larger size. If most of your files live in the cloud, a smaller one is usually enough.

Storage cannot be added later on most phones and laptops, so it is worth buying a little more than you think you need.

  • Most modern phones and laptops work here, but phones vary in the mobile bands they support. Check that a phone supports the networks you use before you buy.

Each product page lists its specification. If you're unsure, send us the model on WhatsApp and we'll check with you.

  • Phones and laptops report battery health in their settings or through a diagnostic tool. A figure well below full capacity means shorter days between charges.

On our listings, battery information is shown on the product page where it applies. For anything not stated, ask us before you order.

  • Yes. Tell us what you use it for, your budget and anything you already own, and we'll talk it through with you on WhatsApp.

Smart home6

  • Yes, our own team installs many of them. Each product page says whether installation is included.

  • Not always. Many bulbs, plugs and cameras work over Wi-Fi with a phone app. A hub becomes useful when you add many devices, or devices that use other radios such as Zigbee or Thread.

Each product page says whether it needs a hub.

  • They're different ways for devices to talk. Wi-Fi uses your router. Zigbee and Thread are low-power mesh networks suited to small sensors and bulbs. Matter is a shared language that lets devices from different brands work together.

  • It depends on the device. Anything that needs your router or the internet stops when they do. Some devices keep their local controls, and a battery for the router and hub keeps much of a system running.

If outages are common where you live, tell us and we'll suggest devices that cope well.

  • The one that matches the phones and speakers you already use: Alexa, Google Home or Apple Home. Most current devices support more than one, and Matter makes switching easier later.

  • Yes. Smart bulbs and plugs need no wiring and move with you. Avoid anything that needs the landlord's permission, such as replacing wall switches, unless you have it.

Solar & power7

  • Yes, our own team installs them. Tell us about your site on WhatsApp and we'll explain what installation involves for your system.

  • Start with what you want to run and for how long. Add up the power of those appliances, multiply by the hours you use them, and you have a daily figure in watt-hours. Panels, battery and inverter are all sized from it.

Send us the list on WhatsApp and our team works it out with you.

  • The battery stores energy. The inverter turns the direct current from panels and batteries into the alternating current your appliances use, and manages charging. They have to suit each other, so it's best to choose them together.

  • Lithium iron phosphate batteries generally last many more charge cycles and can be used more deeply than lead-acid. Lead-acid costs less at first but usually needs replacing sooner.

  • It can, but air conditioners draw a lot of power, especially when starting. You need an inverter with enough capacity, and enough panels and battery for the hours you run it.

Tell us the model and how long you use it, and we'll advise honestly on what it takes.

  • Often, yes. Many inverters and batteries can be expanded, but the limits differ between brands. Tell us your plans, even if they're years away, so we can recommend equipment that leaves room to grow.

  • No. Portable power stations plug in and charge from the wall or a folding panel. They suit a few devices through an outage rather than a whole house.
