The US5000 is a 48V LiFePO4 battery in a rack-mount case, designed for daily charge and discharge. It is one of the most widely supported batteries in hybrid inverter systems, with CAN and RS485 communication.

Chemistry that suits daily use
LiFePO4 is stable and tolerant of regular cycling to a high depth of discharge. That makes it a better fit for daily backup than older lead-acid banks.

How many modules can be connected?
The number depends on the inverter and the battery management system. A common residential bank uses two to four modules.
Does it need a separate BMS?
No. Each module has an integrated battery management system and communicates with the inverter.
