The MultiPlus-II is an inverter and charger in one enclosure, designed for sites where the grid is unreliable. It combines a battery inverter, a transfer switch and a multi-stage charger, with settings that can be tuned to a specific battery bank.

Power conversion with margin
The 5000VA rating and integrated transfer switch allow a house to run from battery and switch back to grid quickly. The toroidal transformer gives it good surge capability for motors.

Can it be used without a battery?
No. The MultiPlus-II is a battery inverter and needs a DC battery bank to operate.
Is it suitable for a whole house?
Yes, with load management and an appropriately sized battery. Large loads may require multiple units in parallel.
